One day rainforest and kichwa culture package round Ahuano

Important befor the tour starts: You have to tell us if you have any alergies or if you are vegetarian AND your shoe size so we can take fitting rubber boots for you. Important or useful things to bring with you: sunscreen, hat, swimming gear and deet

Depature at 9 am in Tena with a private car or bus (at our office, or we can pick you up at any other point in Tena, f.e. hostel, bus station, etc.; their is an possibility to leave your luggage in our office)

First stop: Monkey Island, Puerto Misahualli

Puerto Misahualli is a small idyllic village in the rainforest with a nice beach which is famous for its wild monkeys. They can come and go whenever they want but they love to stay in the village or at the beach.( Caution: keep your personal belongings save! Also  don´t feed the monkeys, the guide has some maggots with him). Also you can try some grilled Chonta Kuro (bug larva), a local specialty.

After that, we continue our tour with the transport to a harbour, where we enter a canoe and have a beautiful boat tour on the Rio Napo

Next stop: outdoor Kichwa museum and preparation of choclate

This museum is not a tipical museum. You can visit an original house of the native people of this region, the kichwas. It is build exactly like in former times and the native kichwa guide shows and tells you everything about  live and mythodology of his tribe in former times. You can see weapons, boats, chicha bowls and a lot more, you can touch and feel the spirit of the kichwas. After the museum, you can help to prepar some choclate, from the cocoa bean to the ready choclate cream. Here we have a choclate and fruit buffet.

Next part: Tubing

If you want, you can enter the river now. We are going by tube (or canoe, if you don´t want to enter the water or if we have bad conditions) and drift down the Rio Arajuno to the entrance of the Animal rescue station AmaZOOnico. Imagine the hot weather, the cool water, the unspoiled rainforest passing by, and the amazing jungle sounds!

Next stop: Animal rescue center AmaZoonico

The AmaZoonico is a protection forest and a animal rescue center in the middle of the rainforest, which you can just visit by boat. They receive and nurse wild animals which need help and if it is possible, they realise them into the wild. We make a guided tour and you can learn a lot about the wildlife of these region. It is a good chance to see a lot of wildlife, many of them are really hard too see wild in the forest, espeacilly if you don´t have to much time

Next stop: visit at a kichwa house, blowgun shooting and rainforest walk on the isla Anakonda

After leaving the AmaZoonico, we cross the river to visit a kichwa family. Here we are guests and you can see how the kichwas live today in the country side. You learn how to prepare the Chicha, a very important beverage in the Kichwa culture. Naturally you can try the chicha too! After that, we are going to try a practice shot with a tipical blowgun, which the kichwas used for hunting. Would you be a good hunter in the rainforest? Lets try! If everyone shot enough, we are going to cross the isla Anakonda from this riverside (Rio Arajuno) to the other  (Rio Napo). It is not to far (like 1 km) but it is primary forest and the guide can show and explain you a lot about the vegetation, medical plants, insects, spiders, birds and so on. The guides are experts in seeing wildlife, you will be amazed, what they can see before you can see it!  If you can´t walk, you can go to the other side of the island by canoe.

Next part: Sunset, boat tour and dinner

We take you to a beatiful boattour on the Rio Napo tour back to the harbour. Enjoy the sunset over the water and the jungle! When we arrive at the harbour, we have dinner with a nice  few on the water

ca. 7 pm: Return to Tena with the private car or  bus

One day trip, inculded is: The guide, rent for rubber boots, life jackets and tubes, entrances at the museum and the AmaZOOnico, all transports, water, the fruit buffet and the dinner, all taxes.

Paquete de un día de selva y visita a nuestra cultura kichwa alrededor de Ahuano

Importante antes de que comience la excursión: Usted tiene que decirnos si tienen  alguna alergia o si son vegetarianos. Tambien importante es su tamaño de zapato para que podamos llevar botas adequadas. Cosas importantes o útiles: Bloqueador, una gorra, bañador y repelente.

 
Salida a las 9 am en Tena con un carro privado o autobús (en nuestra oficina, o podemos recogerlo en cualquier otro punto en Tena, p.e. en su hótel, estación de autobuses, etc, Hay una posibilidad para dejar su equipaje en nuestra oficina )

Primera parada: Isa de los monos, Puerto Misahualli
Puerto Misahualli es un pequeño pueblo idílico en la selva tropical con una bonita playa que es famosa por sus monos salvajes. Pueden ir y venir siempre que quieran, pero les encanta quedarse en el pueblo o en la playa (cuidado: guarda tus pertenencias personales! Tampoco alimenta a los monos, el guía tiene algunos larvas por esto). También puedes probar algunos Chonta Kuro a la parrilla (larva de insectos), una especialidad local.

Después de eso, continuamos nuestro recorrido a Ahuano, donde entramos en una canoa y tenemos un hermoso paseo en bote por el Río Napo y Rio Arajuno.

Próxima parada: museo Kichwa al aire libre y preparación de choclate
Este museo no es un museo típico. Se puede visitar una casa original de los nativos de esta región, los kichwas. Está construido exactamente como en tiempos antiguos y el guía kichwa nativo muestra y cuenta todo sobre la vida y la mitodología de su tribu en tiempos anteriores. Puedes ver armas, botes, vasijas de chicha y mucho más, puedes tocar y sentir el espíritu de los kichwas. Después del museo, puedes ayudar a preparar chocolate, desde el almendra de cacao hasta la crema de choclate. Aquí tenemos  un buffet de chocolate y frutas.

Siguiente parte: Tubing
Si quieres, puedes entrar en el río ahora. Vamos por tubo (o canoa, si no quieres entrar al agua o si tenemos malas condiciones) y bajamos por el río Arajuno hasta la entrada de la estación de rescate Animales AmaZOOnico. Imagine el calor, el agua fría, la selva virgen  y los sonidos increíble de la selva !

Siguiente parada:cento de rescate de animales  AmaZOOnico
El AmaZOOnico es un bosque de protección y un centro de rescate de animales en la midad de la selva, que puedes visitar solo con caoa. Ellos reciben y cuidan a los animales salvajes que necesitan ayuda y si es posible, se  reintroducción a su hábitat. Hacemos una visita guiada y se puede aprender mucho sobre la fauna de está region. Es una buena oportunidad para ver una gran cantidad de vida silvestre, muchos animales son muy difíciles de ver salvaje en la selva, en especial  si no tienes mucho tiempo.

Próxima parada: visita en una casa de kichwa, disparar de cerbatana y paseo por la selva tropical en la isla Anakonda
Después de dejar el AmaZoonico, cruzamos el río para visitar a una familia kichwa. Aquí estamos invitados y se puede ver cómo los kichwas viven hoy en el campo. Aprendes a preparar la Chicha, una bebida muy importante en la cultura Kichwa. Por supuesto usted puede probar la chicha también ! Después de eso, vamos a probar un tiro de práctica con una cerbatana típica, que los kichwas se utiliza para la caza .. ¿Sería un buen cazador en la selva? ¡Intentemos! Si todos disparan lo suficiente, vamos a cruzar la isla Anakonda de este río (Río Arajuno) y al otro río (Río Napo). No está lejos (como 1 km) pero es selva primario y el guía puede mostrar y explicar mucho sobre la vegetación, plantas médicinales, insectos, arañas, pájaros y mucho más. Los guías son expertos en ver la vida silvestre, usted se sorprenderá, lo que pueden ver antes de que pueda verlo! Si no puedes caminar, puedes ir en canoa al otro lado de la isla .

Le llevamos a un hermoso tour en canoa  por el Río Napo de vuelta al puerto. Disfrute de la puesta de sol sobre el agua y la selva! Cuando llegamos al puerto, cenamos con una buena vista.

ca. 7 pm: Retorno a Tena con el coche privado o el autobús privado

Un viaje de un día, inclusivo: El guía, alquiler de botas de goma, chalecos salvavidas y tubos, entradas en el museo y el AmaZOOnico, todos los transportes, el agua, el buffet de frutas y la cena, todos los impuestos.
